Outlining My Mission

I have been thinking about writing a mission statement for my blogspot.  It needs to be sincerely written about what it is I hope to accomplish now and in the future.  First of all, what is it I'm aiming for and how will I go about reaching my goal(s)?  Maybe I should list some of my goals:

1- Practice my writing skills to express my thoughts clearly, concisely, and coherently.

2- Write about things I like and enjoy including hobbies.

3- Express how I try to keep up with my daily tasks and duties around home.

4- Write and vlog about cooking and home economics.

5- Sell my cookbook, "Freeman Family Cookbook," good old fashioned American home cooking.

6- Keep my blogspot about my life as a senior citizen with everyday challenges and struggles.

7. Enjoy life and live as long as possible and prosper.

That about sums up what I'm trying to do at Google; although, I'm not finished composing my mission statement.  I need more time to think about style and authenticity.  So, I gave myself a deadline to write a mission statement--check back with me on or about June 1, 2022.

Home Improvement

By 10:00 A.M., I was up, dressed to shoes, ate breakfast, took meds, did my chores, and waited for my son, Jim to take me to Home Depot and Burlington.  It seems we need another pint of touch-up paint and silicone caulking for the main bathroom, Jim painted yesterday.  He also wants a new shower curtain to redecorate!  I put a stop to new shower rod and rings because the old ones are galvanized steel and we can't do better than those things for durability.  I told Jim, we could clean and polish the shower rod and there are nothing wrong with the rings.  If it doesn't need fixing, let it alone.      "Totally do, I have to skedaddle."

Getting Started

At my age, getting started, and then keeping up are not easy; however, once it becomes a habit, I could possibly get used to it.  Habits are developed over a period of about three weeks or twenty-one days so I've learned.  Over the years, I developed many habits--some good--some not so good.  I've had to break my bad habits by teaching myself to quit doing whatever it was that was bad.  Therefore, if this Blogspot turns bad, I may have to give it up.  Then again, if I keep writing about my life after seventy-five and people become interested in reading my blogs, it could become a habit.  We will have to wait for three weeks to see whether I am able to stick with it until I'm habitually writing to anybody out there.  Habits can sometimes become so habit forming that one could continue without total recall of why one wanted to do it in the first place or of what it was one did in the second place.  Does that make any sense to yo...
